The challenge
Refrigeration and cooling keep a high, constant load during the most expensive hours. Fuel adjustments made it impossible to budget energy spend from one year to the next, and no capital was available for a project at this scale.
The solution
We designed an approximately 680 kW rooftop system under a power purchase agreement, with no investment from the host. Mounting was planned to protect roof warranties, and construction ran sector by sector, at night and in low-traffic hours, so sales were never affected.
